Pacno is a platform for the development of electronics and software for the benifit of musical creativity. Amongst our products are a gnu/linux distribution focused on stable audio warfare, powerful midi equipment, multimedia internet applications aimed at performing and broadcasting the result of our developments and webhosting.
Pacno's Hosting department has been around since 2002. For a few years Pacno Hosting was mostly aimed at multimedia applications like audio streaming and video broadcasting. Since 2004 we also provide Hosting for regular websites in cooperation with Hostage.

We have started the development of the StreamBox. It's a nifty little device that only does one thing: convert any audio signal to an mp3, ogg/vorbis or ogg/flac stream and transmits it on the internet. The first prototype is active since Aug 20st 2006 for Radio Activity in Amsterdam.
